An age limit applies, and in practice units much older than about eight years are not accepted. As elsewhere in the region, a conformity certificate is required and is arranged before loading.
- Which port does a car from China clear at for Senegal?
- Dakar. Dakar is a friendly RoRo port with regular services from China, and it feeds the Sahel by road. Quoting Dakar and Abidjan side by side is worth doing on Sahel-bound volumes, because the inland leg is a large share of the delivered cost.
